Portland Elopement + Oregon Coast Reception | Jillian & Jeff

Witnessing your best friend tie the knot is very special.  When she and her fiancé happen to be extremely chic and plan a city elopement + beach reception, it's admittedly, even better.  

Jillian and Jeff live in San Luis Obispo, but are both from Washington state.  Deciding to meet in middle, they created the most lovely Oregon Coast reception for their family and friends.  

We started their day at Knot Springs in Portland and it was the most genius move ever.   What's more relaxing then being with your love in those gorgeous light-filled pools??  If anyone's ever made a case for eloping, it's these two.  

A Portland courthouse ceremony, camping, delicious tacos and Salt & Straw ice cream.. could you plan a better week?!

Portland Elopement | Mallory + Andres

Well friends, I officially live for elopements. When Mallory and Andres contacted me to shoot their wedding ceremony in Portland, I could not say YES fast enough.  I've always wanted to be a part of such an intimate affair and now I know why.  It was an absolutely gorgeous day with a couple that shared their (amazing) vows with their closest friends, an officiant, and myself.  I may or may not have teared up a bit when Andres shared a poem from 'Patch Adams', that he had been wanting to read to a girl since he was a kid.  The two were sweet, quick to share a laugh and easy-going.  Doesn't get any better and I think their chemistry shines through in their photos.
