About Me
About Me
My name is Janine Soltman. I'm a wife, mom to two, and I fall more in love with photography all the time.
It is where I belong and what I’m meant to do.
I love a bone dry sparkling wine, but I might love coffee more
I have two kiddos, 6 years apart, and I wouldn’t have it any other way
I'm a sucker for new fitness classes + always up for hike with friends
My husband and I got married at Semiahmoo, just north of Bellingham
Good denim is very important to me
I have an addiction to audio books
Many of my clients turn into friends - I can’t help it; I just have the best clients ever
“We hired Janine for our wedding photos and I could not have asked for more from Janine; she made everything feel so comfortable.
The photos she took are the most beautiful pictures I’ve ever seen - she captured our personalities to a tee!”
I believe that I best present myself and how I work in person, over coffee or wine and chit-chat, but here's a little look into how I work when I pick up that camera...
I will capture the first look, the first kiss and the first dance, but it’s the sweet moments in-between that speak to me even more. The groom’s look as he sees his bride, Grandma + Grandpa dancing up a storm and most importantly, the unique connection between my couples.
I don’t just work with my clients, we form relationships. Weddings turn into maternity, to family and boudoir. I’m often hugging not only the bride, but her mother and sisters by the time I’m wrapping up and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’m there to make you feel calm and at ease in front of the camera, to direct a bit when it’s needed, step back when it’s not and to flush out those awkward moments that we ALL have. More than anything else, I want you to feel super happy with your decision to work together and I believe that we make that happen with the relationship as well as your beautiful images.
“She is not only creative and professional, but so very personable and fun to work with; choosing Janine was by far one of the best decisions for our wedding day”
