One of my true loves lives in Yakima. She has two children, two dogs, and one husband. She is called Mandi. We've been friends since Jr. High School and though very close then, we are probably even closer now. Mandi, Jillian, and I walked together during HS Graduation and (if all goes according to plan) will one day, walk each other down the retirement home hallway to cocktail hour. That being said, it was a perfectly natural decision for Jills and I to take a 3 1/2 hour day trip last Saturday to spend time with Mandi and the kids. On the agenda? Meeting their new pup Dezzy and a trip to the pumpkin patch.
